Aldham Parish Church is mostly 600 years old. The church was moved to its present site just over 150 years ago, stone by stone. Originally it was situated some half mile away down the road. Note Have seen an item in the PRs at the Essex RO which stated that William Perry, my 3rd g.grandfather was the first person to be buried in the new graveyard after the church was moved. He was buried 4.11.1885.	Banwell Parish Church Where 6xgreatgrandfather William Lewis married Mary Morgan 5th March 1717
